Painting Pets with Personality

Griffact:
Emily is a Guardian Member of The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

"My husband and I have an eight-year-old Shih Tsu named Troubles. She melted Jim when he first saw her and has had him hooked ever since. Last Christmas I surprised Jim with a portrait by Emily, who captured not only Troubles’ appearance, but her spirit and personality as well . Jim loved it! Emily’s artistry truly has to be seen to be fully appreciated."

Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs.  Emily donated an oil painting for their recent Kitty Kegger.

Emily is a Guardian Member of the ASPCA.   The ASPCA is able to create life-saving programs that create happy endings for innocent animals who suffer abuse and neglect.

GA English Bulldog Rescue's mission is to first ensure the safety and well-being of all English Bulldogs that they take in and second to educate the public in the care of English Bulldogs. They rehabilitate and re-home English Bulldogs that are sick, neglected, abused, or injured. Moreover, they provide a safe alternative to shelters for owners that are faced with the already difficult decision of finding a new home for their English bulldog.  Emily donated an original one of a kind portrait of University of GA's mascot Uga VIII for their Annual Bully Ball.
